Overview of terms and conditions
Your responsibility:

  • Keep the weed hatch clear of weed, rope, plastic etc...

  • Turn the grease gun daily

  • Provide photo ID

  • Provide £250 fully refundable deposit the day before arrival, which will be returned to you on the safe arrival of the boat on time

  • Wear life jackets provided

  • Return the boat in good condition, undamaged

Our responsibility:

  • Provide a clean boat and fresh laundry

  • Provide Public Liability Insurance

  • We do NOT provide your own personal insurance for loss or damage of personal belongings

  • Full fuel tank

  • Full tank of water

  • Boat Handling Tuition

  • To provide life jackets

Refund Policy
Full Terms and Conditions

  • Full payment upon booking

  • Administration charge of £50 for amendments to booking

  • In the event of cancellation, the following scale of refunds will apply:

    • Cancellation before 8 weeks of departure will receive a 50% refund 

    • Cancellation within 8 weeks of departure will not receive a refund

    • Shardlow Narrowboat Hire may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial refund depending on our ability to rehire the boat for the whole of the hire period.
